Account and subscription

The plans, the free song limit, how to cancel your subscription, and how to delete your account.

Your SONGUIDE account keeps your library in sync on all your devices. One account works everywhere, whether you use the app on iOS, Android, or the web, with up to 5 devices at the same time. This guide covers the plans and how to manage your subscription and account.

Plans

  • Free includes all core features: the editor with ChordPro support, transpose and capo, folders and setlists, and sync across your devices. The library holds up to 15 songs.
  • Musician removes the song limit. Everything in Free stays included, and one subscription covers all your devices. Pay monthly or yearly.

Current prices are on the pricing page. A Team plan for bands, worship teams, and churches with multiple teams is planned.

The free song limit

The Free plan holds up to 15 songs. When your library is full, creating, duplicating, and importing new songs pauses. Delete songs you no longer need, or upgrade to Musician to keep adding. Your current usage is shown in the app under Settings, Plan and Billing.

Two things are true on every plan:

  • Nothing is ever deleted. If a subscription ends, every song stays in your library. Only adding new songs above the free limit pauses.
  • Export is always available, on any plan and in any subscription state. See Import and export.

Subscribing

Upgrade directly in the app. Purchases go through the App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android, and Stripe on the web. The subscription is tied to your SONGUIDE account, not to a device, so it unlocks all your signed in devices at once.

There is no separate trial. The Free plan lets you try everything for as long as you want.

Got a new phone or reinstalled the app? Sign in, and your subscription comes with your account. If a purchase from the App Store or Google Play does not show up, use Restore Purchases under Settings, Plan and Billing.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation happens where you bought the subscription, not inside the app. The easiest way is to open Settings, Plan and Billing in the app and tap the manage button, which takes you to the right place automatically.

Where you boughtWhere to cancel
App Store (iOS)apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
Google Play (Android)play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
WebThe billing portal, opened from Settings, Plan and Billing

Cancelling stops the automatic renewal. Musician stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. The subscription belongs to your store account, not to a device, so you can cancel from any browser even if you lose the device you purchased on.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by the purchase channel. For App Store purchases, request a refund from Apple at reports.apple.com/apps. For Google Play and web purchases, write to contact@songuide.com within 14 days of the charge.

Deleting your account

Export anything you want to keep first, see Import and export. Then open Settings, Account, Delete Account in the app. You confirm your identity with your password or by signing in again with Google or Apple. An internet connection is required.

Your account is deactivated immediately and signed out on all devices. For 30 days you can get it back by simply signing in again. After 30 days, your account and all its data are permanently deleted.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it where you bought it first, otherwise billing continues.

If you cannot sign in, or you want the full policy, see the account deletion page.
